Dear Wendy,

As you might know, I direct the HCI Bibliography, and part of that is
the HCI Webliography: categorized links of HCI resources on the web.

Almost by accident, I have gathered links for several topics in HCI:
 	Kids and computers http://hcibib.org/kids/
 	Intercultural issues http://hcibib.org/intercultural/
 	Accessibility http://hcibib.org/accessibility/
For years, I've wanted to add one on aging, but the only work I've done is
keep a query for the HCI Bibliography on aging:
 	http://hcibib.org/bs.cgi?searchtype=replace-wildcard&query=u%2Ehcibib%2Eaging%2A
which matches 1171 records, almost half from the HFES conferences:
 	http://hcibib.org/bs.cgi?searchtype=canned&facetsize=10&highlight=checked&query=(older+(age|people|person*|user*|adult*))+|+aging|ageing|elder|elderly|geront*
Within those, I have only 9 books, but more importantly, only 18 websites,
and those do not even include your own Human Factors and Aging Lab (well, they
do now that I added it). What I'd like is to get an expert such as yourself to
suggest some categories of links and some link. I could take care of the cataloging.
I could add an acknowledging note on the top of the page to and a link to your lab.
If you do not have the time, then perhaps you could cajole a grad student to help.

I feel like time is a factor here, as the baby boomers are not getting any younger,
are they, and HF in aging might represent a good area for job growth in the next
decade. I'd like to do what I can to promote work in that area.

I don't have such a version, and I do not have a software development environment for Windows 7.

What happens when you use the DOS version on Windows 7?

Hi Alan,

Sounds like you are being productive.

Thanks for the note. I did not know about CSUN or the ICCHP conferences.
I just added them to my accessibility page:

http://hcibib.org/accessibility/

Best,

Gary

Thanks, Wendy,

I started a page here:
 	http://hcibib.org/aging/
with two categories of links: organizations and resources

I'd like to get more links for those categories as well as other categories.
I'd especially like to have a "research" category with links to sites doing
research on Computer Use by Older Users.

You can send as little as URLs. I can use those to pull in any metadatta
(title, summary, keywords, etc). Adding a category (or categories) would
also be useful. I will edit.

Gary
