Thanks for the pointer to the online proceedings. I have added them to hcibib.org.

I'm not sure why
 	http://rochi.utcluj.ro/proceedings/en/
would have separate subpages for current and past issues. The current issue page will always have one issue, and I think most users would prefer to see all issues on one page. I also suggest adding metadata on the issues: city, dates, etc. UIST had some good ideas in 2014, but unfortunately placed the archive under 2014 instead of having a single page. Also, it might be a challenge for someone viewing this page to get to the proceedings.

Hi all,

I cobbled a webpage with the HCIBIB metadata for a set of conferences. After I make it prettier, I'll adapt it for journal volumes. But here is a link for the RoCHI Conferences:

http://hcibib.org/archive.cgi?RoCHI

or the Intelligent User Interfaces Conference:

http://hcibib.org/archive.cgi?IUI

Compare that to this page:

http://rochi2014.utcluj.ro/en/previous-rochi-editions/

Very similar information (I hope), but on the utcluj.ro page, there is no link to see the proceedings, and even when I go to the conference websites, it's not clear to me how to find the proceedings. I'd prefer to see one page on the RoCHI site that has all the information for all editions.

All I was trying to suggest was to include the Current Issue in the "Past Issues" and rename it "All Issues". Personally, I'd only go to the page of All Issues. I'd make that page -- showing all the years -- the main content for:

http://rochi.utcluj.ro/proceedings/en/index.php

because it would get people to content faster. The redundant ISSN on the first page and publisher info could go elsewhere; I don't think it's the information most people want, although Publication Overview would also be goodcontent for the Home Page.

These are just my opinions and you can take them or not (I won't be offended), but I think it would be useful to model what users want to do with the content, and how to make it easier to do those tasks.

As we say here in Montreal,

Joyeux Noel et Bonne Annee!

Gary

Thanks for the correction to the metadata. The script took less than an hour to write, but it highlighted an embarrasing number of errors in the database, which I spent hours correcting! Such is the bibliographer's life.

Thanks for the contents alert. I am adding the volume to hcibib.org.

I noticed that there is a problem with the page numbers:

Issue 1/2: 1-235
Issue 3: 237-349
Issue 4: 251-444

Please let me know if these get corrected and I will update hcibib.org.
